@matthewbugg: Asks: Why does InDesign have 2 diff kerning methods? What a great Question. Mr. Crayons is on to this one. There are many options for kerning in InDesign and some take advantage of the fonts own settings. However the Optical option allows users to over- ride the fonts own kerning settings and create what is usually a much better looking set of text. There are of course a few extra tips in this video. Mr. Crayons rocks it out as usual.
